Skipping The Queues In Dublin Airport With Airport Genie

June 10, 2013 by Michele Neylon 2 Comments

airport-genie-logoDublin airport’s “Airport Genie” service comes in a number of flavours.

The simplest and cheapest option gives you fast track access through security, with SMS alerts and a free coffee.

Today I am flying with Aer Lingus and since I don’t have status with them I decided to pay the €5 to get Airport Genie.

I’m delighted that I did.

The “normal” security line at Dublin’s T2 was showing a 30 minute wait time and that was probably optimistic.

With fast track access I had practically no wait time at all and was in the lounge 5 minutes after entering security.

If you’re flying via Dublin Airport at peak hours the extra €5 is well worth it as it not only saves you time, but makes for a much more pleasant experience.

(They’ll even text you to let you know which gate to board through, which is kind of handy!)
