Brussels airport was badly damaged in the recent terrorist attack. While the authorities tried to get the airport back to “normal” as quickly as possible, the airport is unlikely to return to full capacity until June or later.
In the interim if you are planning to travel via Brussels airport you should:
- check for updates with your airline
- check the airport’s official site
- follow their Twitter account
A tweet earlier today is recommending that passengers allow 3 hours for long-haul flights and two hours for short-haul.
*New travel advice* we advise travellers to be at the airport 2h in advance for short-haul flights, 3h in advance for long-haul flights.
